Feeling like your life is overflowing with obligations and clutter? Yearning for greater joy and fulfilment?
Sometimes, the key to progress isn't adding more, but rather shedding what no longer serves you. In this video, Artem, a digital nomad reflecting on his work-life journey after 40, shares 12 things he quit to simplify his life and create space for what truly matters.
Inspired by minimalism, slow living, and self-care, these tips will help you:
● Declutter your life: Let go of habits, possessions, and negativity that weigh you down.
● Prioritize joy: Focus on activities and experiences that spark happiness and fulfillment.
● Embrace intentionality: Make deliberate choices that align with your values and goals.
● Simplify your routine: Streamline your daily practices for increased efficiency and peace.
● Discover the power of "less": Learn why minimalism isn't about deprivation, but about living a richer life with less.

Hear! Hear! I love your video 🎉. I was viewing another channel when your video popped up on my I'm always interested in ways where I can "quit" something and was keen to hear your perspectives. I've been on this journey for a few years now, and am reassured that I made the best decisions for myself based upon your list. I quit staying up late many years ago now as I am a Librarian working at a K-12 International School in The Middle East and usually rise at 3:00 am (or before) to get my day started with my prayers and meditations. This is non-negotiable for me. This early morning ritual sets the tone for my day. I also make my bed and prepare my home for my return. I like knowing that everything at my home is neat and tidy before I leave for work. I also like what you said about accepting accountability. I couldn't agree more. I don't like being late for work or having to rush once I do arrive, so have clocked in to work at 5:45 am for the past 3 years now. It's not as crazy as it might sound because my "official" start time as a school employee is 6:45 am, so I give myself the gift of 1 hour every morning. I'm able to open my Library, turn on all the computers and copiers, organize my lessons for the day, and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee before the busyness of students and teachers begin. I prepare everything that I need for these early morning arrivals by maintaining a stocked supply in my filing cabinet at work. I, too, have "quit" associating with Drama Kings and Toxic Queens. I found out a few years ago that their negative energy was weighing me down. So, while I do remain cordial, I no longer spend any of my "free time" around them. My free time is limited and I prefer surrounding myself with high frequency people where we pour into each other. I don't have time or the energy for fake people, so I believe it's a WIN-WIN for me. I, too, quit amassing additional things. While I am by no means a minimalist, I have acknowledged, Praise Be To God, that I do not need anything else. Unlike yourself, I shopped (and at times still do) in bulk and have cupboards and closets overflowing with clothings, decor, and provisions. I am learning to use what I have. I am definitely less stressed out and have squirreled away a few extra dollars by keeping my money in my pocket. I only have my KZbin and Facebook Accounts which I use for my personal growth and keeping in touch with my family members who live back in The States. I've never wanted a Tic-Tok or Instagram Account because years ago I realized that all these accounts require maintenance. Since I don't upload videos or haven't been interested in starting a public channel, it was an easy decision for me.
