12-year-old girl killed by crocodile, Australian police say

Australian police said the remains of a 12-year-old girl had been found, two days after she was snatched by a crocodile while swimming in a creek in a remote part of northern Australia. "It was particularly gruesome and a sad, devastating outcome," a police officer said.

For this case you just have to ask yourself would you let your 12 years old daughter go out in the woods and swim in waters that you know had crocs in it and to do it alone. Wouldn't in the US anymore. Gators in waterways all over Texas, a long with snakes, even sharks seen in the Guadalupe river! Besides all the filth now. Millions of illegals came in, we've got cases of TB, measles, polio, scabies, covid and even leprosy again. No telling what else, besides the sewage you know is there. No WAY I'd get near it.

Lord have mercy. I pray she did not suffer, but was able to go quickly. So tragic. Pick up a pair of polarized sunglasses to look at creek beds and river ways. You’ll be able to see them lurking in the water. Many folks use them when fishing in ponds to reduce the surface glare. It will save your life folks!!

When you live and grow up in a place like that you don't see the dangers like outsiders do, and your more knowledgeable bein around such environments.i grew up near lake Waccamaw, and the lake itself as well as the canals that are on opposite side of the road are full of gators,but that never stopped me from swimming, wading through thick lily pads,if it is your time, don't matter what or were...

Gators are nowhere near as dangerous as saltwater crocodiles. You can swim with gators and survive (still not a good idea) but you definitely can’t swim with salties.
