what impresses me the most with this is the insane amount of memorization this takes. i am willing to bet nobori has a genius level IQ. this has to be so much more than just audio cues, the amount of things he has to memorize for all the movements as well as back-ups in honestly mind blowing. this guy is beyond next level

@Ray25689
@Ray25689 3 жыл бұрын
@@lordrob13 why do you think that? Honest question, I dont know this guy at all, but maths and physics are really different from playing SM64 in any way (even the PU stuff, its mostly basic calculations, but math is way more than that. Since I study maths I think I'm able to say this)
@Ray25689
@Ray25689 3 жыл бұрын
@Kristo Pushka IQ doesnt reflect your memorization for example. But still, people would call someone a genius who is extraordinary good in remembering stuff. There are thousands of ways to measure the IQ and they dont result in the same number. Some of them have time pressure, other dont. So there is a lot of psychologic stuff that isnt considered in those tests. Let me rephrase it: IQ should be the same as intelligence, but the ways we measure IQ make this absolutely impossible.

musicians can play without looking all the time, but video games are different. Music you have a tempo to go off to making it much easier to time. Video games to repeat motion exactly, need to be down to the millesecond, and need to be done sequentially(just like bitcoin's block chain, where you change one thing and it affects everything else down the line). Music you can be off by a tiny bit and it wont matter, and if you screw up it wont mess up everything after. So no this would be much harder than memorising an hour and a half music piece. This is literally spending an hour and a half pressing multiple buttons sequentially at the exact millesecond.

Fury is one of the words where Y is seen as the sometimes vowel. It causes the U to say its name. "F you ree" instead of 'Fuh ree' Its one of the more obscure rules of English phenetics that schools don't teach anymore. I believe its borrowed from Welsh, where W is an always vowel.

꧁46:40꧂ While "furry" and "fury" are spelled similarly, their roots come from very different languages. The root of "furry" is ofcourse "fur" a word of truly ancient origin; having evolved through many steps from the Proto-Germanic "fōdrą". Once the noun "Fur" came into English it was rendered the adjective "furry" prescriptively when well established Old English suffix conventions, meaning "full of or characterized by," were applied. The origin or "Fury" are Latin words for rage "furo\furia\furiæ" but came in to English via the Old French "Furie" but quaint attempts to reform and standardize English spelling would eventually change it to "Fury".

Just saying as a Christian man I never understood why people are so hateful to people who are gay. You said that a lot has to do with religion. I remember a quote from the Bible that states nobody has the right to judge except for the Lord himself. Those who damn other are worse than the sinner themselves. I hold that verse very close to myself. Nobody has the right to tell people how to live their lives do what makes you happy.

The hardest part was learning pillarless. I find it easier to speedrun the game than casually playing it now. *WOWSER BOWSER!!* The strats that he uses in this run are _sooooo_ efficient that it makes me _suuuuper_ skeptical that he can’t see through that blindfold. Obviously he is _most likely_ *not* cheating!! He did have a game over and totally could’ve saved that last death if he moved back just a tiiiiny bit (the only way he would’ve known how close he was tho, obviously, is if he could see through the blindfold. Case dismissed! LOL! Totally not cheating, IMO. All of that aside, also not cheating, due to the fact that he must have a pretty substantial following. He also must stream daily for his fans who have watched his strats, timed movements, and PB/WR attempt runs for a _very_ long time. Anyway, it just makes you wonder how long he has been doing this and how efficient he will inevitably become if he continues on this pace. I mean, muscle memory is an amazing thing! I see these blindfolded runners bringing these times down to within ten minutes behind the regular (non-blindfolded) run times! _Can you imagine sub -1 hour blindfolded 70 star runs?!_ *LOL! Why don't blindfolded speedrunners play the Shindu edition of the game? They don't need BLJ plus it has rumble queues.

Guess he was more to the right in vanish cap than usual and would nornally go to the left so he jumps along the wall. Just like in his first try. And randomly he was in the middle the second time. Just my theory.

Yo how many times are you just going to flex your culture via random runescape references? Now I'm just wondering what your total level is in osrs

I gaurentee his little adjustment to center himself on the platform is just muscle memory, he knows he cant die for going to far left unlike his right; so why not take a step over to ease your mind since you're blund

imagine he’s only good at the game when he’s blindfolded LOL

Vanishcap, he looks like he is trying to get against the left wall and maybe it was just coinsidental that he positioned perfectly in the middle. He might have thought he was closer to the middle and was aiming for the far left.

40:15 he thought he was more to the left. His strategy is to be pushed up against the left wall so he can find that corner to set himself up for the moving platforms.......it just so happens he was a little to the right. But he didnt know that....

Much like Runnerguy2489. He did blindfold runs of Ocarina of Time 100%, with glitches. Its insane. Thats even more memorization than SM64.

the craziest part about this is that he cant check his time to see if its a shit run. So if he's doing bad, he is wasting time if hes grinding wr.

40:11 I mean if you look at the situation, going to the left can't kill him but going to the right can. No matter how far left he already is. Also he got here with a triplejump dive, perhaps neutral joystick, which shouldn't have that big of a scatter

I guess he probably did it to lose speed for better spacing, and/or to be closer to the left wall to reach it a bit faster. Surviving wasn't the point of this left input.
