In conjunction with a good brush like the Wet brush you can use detangler spray. I’d recommend also getting the girls silk or satin pillow cases. It will help their wavy/curly hair to not tangle in their sleep.

THIS👆🏽👆🏽 switching to a silk or satin pillowcase is such a simple way to help care for hair! Plus they tend to stay cooler temperature wise which I like

There is a spray leave in hair conditioner which will help with the tangles you spray it before using the brush. Your girls will love it. Also if they loosely plait their hair before bed it helps with the tangles considerably. From one parent to another 😊

Always detangle before washing hair. Don’t brush out knots, use the “finger” method by running fingers through hair and separating fingers to slowly separate knot and loosen it up. That causes less damage than brushing it out and you’ll save more hair strands that way.

I have very long hair and the wet brush paddle brush is my favorite. It detangles without tugging and takes a lot less time to brush my hair.

With your girls having so much hair you may want to try a detangling comb first before you put the brush to it. My youngest has ethnic hair and I have found using the big comb first works the best.

There’s a brush called the wet brush and it works great my daughter has long hair and I just use a small spray bottle and spray some water on her hair then detangler spray and use that brush and it works great

I use the goody brand of brushes to detangle my hair, they work great. I also buy gussied kids moisture detangler for my granddaughters, my hair is down to tush. So I deal with a lot of tangles.

We had quite a freezer full of meat, but its pretty scarce now, but they love roast! We made a pork roast on accident and they loved that too lol.

The wet brush is supposed to be used when the hair is wet! The other brush would be better on dry hair! I’d say keep both and use the wet for after the bath and the others for morning styling!

Hi Tom I recommend a paddle brush it's brilliant for long hair n also grab a squirty bottle fill half with water n half conditioner and use it daily doing the girls hair

With Little girls with long hair…. The tangle teezer brush is far superior to the Wet Brush even. Just add some detangler, but you don’t even need it. I was in charge of French braids for a dance competition for my little cousin and her 11 “closest dance friends.” That Tangle Teezer Brush was the saving grace of the day. I even bought one for myself. Love it! And 3/4 of the girls had hair mid way down their backs.

When my daughter was way younger, it always helped if we trimmed away the dead ends that looked scraggly on her long hair. Good luck young girls with long hair can be a full time job at times. You're doing a great job .

The detangling brushes work very well. You have to throw away all learned views of brushes. My two small grand daughters have very long hair. The brushes are magic. Use a detangling hair liquid pumped on the hair and brush to work even better.

Food & clothes have gotten more expensive, and it feels like the kids have more wants/needs as they age. We usually get most of our daughter’s clothes from a good thrift store near us (lots of rich homes nearby who donate barely used stuff or nice brands in good condition). Even the thrift store has raised their prices! I’m happy I only have 1 (: she’s 5 and I may have 1 more but, man, in this economy we are good for now… may god continue to provide heartily for your family and all of ours.

Hi Tom You should get your hair brushes at the dollar tree for 1.25 each. They are just regular hair brushes,they will get tangles out just as well. Also they have alot of kitchen stuff too.

Do the girls use a detangle spray after they wash their hair? That would help with brushing and having smoother hair. They do have better products from Sephora or Ulta online but the products from Walmart would help.

My daughter had long hair too! The best brush we found was a soft bristle dog brush. 😊 We tried them all before we found the one.
