Notice how in powerlifting and strongman, the lift begins at their shins. This lift begins almost above his knees, because the tires are so tall compared to powerlifting plates. Still insanely impressive and could probably do a 1k lb traditional deadlift

Doesn't most deadlifting start off lower to the ground? Tires put the bar at a higher starting point thus making it easier and do more weight. He should be standing on a block. The bar is only traveling about 6 to 8 inches

The Hummer Tire deadlift is an 18inch deadlift, meaning you start 18 inches off the ground. It's understood that it's easier than a traditional deadlift - nobody is trying to hide that. It's a specific lift not meant to be compared to a traditional deadlift.
