How to hook up Demon eyes, Coil cover lighting, and grill lighting!

This video is a bit long but I go over everything you will need to know on how to hook up demon eyes, coil cover lighting, and upper and lower grill lighting! This was all purchased and and custom built by ModFX and if you like this set up on my car you will definitely want to contact them to get your custom build going! After watching you struggle with your half cover at 13:50 you helped me remember how much of a pain they were to get on. I came home from work today and grabbed my half covers that I cut to fit with my Cervinis and gave them a good hard push and they locked in place. Finally ☝️ Thanks for keeping that in the video it really saved me some time and effort tonight. I would have been filing them down for another hour or 2 thinking they were still too big.

A little dab of grease on the mount ball or the rubber socket on the cover side (I use SuperLube for stuff like this, but any grease would work fine) makes installing the 6.4L half covers or the 5.7 full cover a breeze. Dry they are a hassle to install.

Work Play Drive man they can be a pain but with some good pressure they will press down. That is so good to hear that leavening that in helped you out and you got yours on! So I take it you don't have to mount them differently so they don't run on your billet covers now?

Nice job on the install and looks killer. I like the etched bee on the headlights. Unfortunately, the lighting effects stuff really isn't my thing. I have to check it out when you come for WAM3. When you get to Amarillo, TX, are you gonna try your mad eating skills an go for that 72oz Steak and trimmings? Eat it all in 1 hr and its free. Also, the Cadillac Ranch is in Amarillo.

Did you ever end up doing anything with the black ground wire next to the optional yellow wire? I noticed at the start it was just two wires but then it had a circle prong at the end of it later in the video

Sorry about that but yes I did. I connected all the black ground wires to body grounds behind the head lights. Hopefully that helps and thanks for watching and commenting! 🐝

Thanks for the detailed walk thrgh! The diode site says the grill kit is on 50cm long, but those look four times longer. Any guesstimate how long they are?

Absolutely! I don't know how long 50cm is but you will need 4 feet for each grill (upper and lower) so a total of 8 feet. Hopefully this helps and thanks for the complement, watching and commenting!

I showed how to do it but it was already installed. Use a bit of soapy water on the rubber cups and pressure right above them on the other side and they will pop right on. Hopefully that helps.

You will need the controller and remote to make them work. I would try contacting the company you bought them from to see if they can help you out on the parts needed.

They are just LED strips that I cut down to size and used double sided tape to hold them on. Hopefully that helps and thanks for watching and commenting! 🐝

You've had no issues with water with your controllers or your connections? The Bluetooth box and your connectors aren't waterproof, are they?

I haven't but you do need to be very careful or just add dielectric grease to all the connectors to help them to be water resistant and then you will not have a problem. Great question and thanks for asking!

Yeah, I was going to suggest the dielectric grease because I didn't see you use it in the video. I have it on all of my non waterproof connections to my halos and controller box. Thanks for the reply man and very nice vid!
