Wow! Tu as toute mon admiration, bravo!! You’re very strong a 36lbs backpack is really heavy. I’ll attempt the thru hike of La traversée in September with a tent (plus take advantage of the chalet), without resupply with a maximum of 25lbs including 8/9lbs of foods and fuel. Thanks for sharing your experience, nice works. Oh! Your song sound like a 50s French chansonnette, bears and birds must have liked it.

Very enjoyable video. Hard to believe it was an hour long. Saw a KZbin video where someone demonstrated how to start a fire using Doritos. Just crush a few and light them with a match, they burn with enough flame to start a fire. Maybe double up on your Doritos for your future hikes. Your first book says you lack fire starting skills. Hope this helps. Lol

@@Womaninthewoods13 its a 80 or so km hike that follows the canadian-us border,you have many view points,actualy some of the best ones! You can only sleep in *lean to's* and carry your passport in case yo cross the border hahaha!

@@Womaninthewoods13 The three main ones are Pukaskwa National Park coastal trail, the Casque Isles Trail and the Lake Superior coastal trail. There all through hikes unless you backtrack, easy for you lol, so shuttles required. The Pukaskwa would be by boat but is obscenely expensive unless you can meet up with others starting same time and share expense. The other two shuttle by car and there are places you can arrange for that to, the later I could probably help out on if you considered it as I spend a lot of time up that way, just returned from a week of crown land camping on Lake Superior :), and also know people in the Soo.

Ghosts can't vlog, y'know. ❤️ When I saw you in the canoe climbing up to that site in another video, it made me wonder - do you keep a waterproofed phone handy for emergencies? And, a whistle? One can blow a whistle much louder and stronger than they can scream. I'm sure you have it all covered, but now I worry.

I own what was advertised as “the world’s loudest whistle.” My packing policy, as I mention in several videos, is “not much but two of everything.” So, yes, I have a back-up phone. And a satellite system. And bear spray. And coyote spray. And quick reflexes and half a brain (better than none). 🤣🤪😉 I am touched at your concern, Mister Ja. Thank you. It means a lot. 🙏🏼💛✌🏼

Well, I am kind of late commenting here but I was on a little road trip and had some engine problems in my truck. I have them being repaired now and am back in town with the computer so I am catching up with videos. As always Christina, you manage to produce quality videos with interesting content. You are like a human dynamo, you just keep going and going and never stop. You fall down and you get back up with a smile and keep on trekking (even with the cuts, scratches, and bruises.) Very inspiring for certain. I am always amazed with your bubbly attitude and conviction at accomplishing all of your little challenges that you put on yourself. You definitely remind me of another fantastic KZbin creator (Itchy Boots.) If you don't already follow her I highly recommend that you give it a try. Thank you for another very good video my friend, you never disappoint. See you on the next one.
