DeWalt 20V MAX DCG412B Lithium Ion 4-½” Angle Grinder, First Use, Review, Allen Key Storage

I try out my new Dewalt DCG412B 20V MAX Lithium Ion 4-½” grinder. I review the product, test with different discs, including a chainsaw chain disc. Also I I added a great idea to store the Allen key in the handle. Allen Key Hack for storage.

Nice job, just got the DCG412 Angle Grinder. Thought I wouldn't use the tool for a few months but I need to level and smooth out a new concrete slab with a diamond turbo cut wheel. Your video really helped me understand my new Dewalt grinder... One valuable thing I learned, I will never get that chainsaw tool! Too many other ways to cut wood without cutting off your valuables...

Tip: You can actually thread on/off discs using the same method showed with the cup brush. Just make sure it's on there tight! May not be the "correct" way, but sure is useful if/when you can't find the wrench.

@@topsaw I must warn you, that chainsaw disc is super dangerous. I was going to get one and did some research and there are lots of very serious injuries. Made me change my mind. please be careful.

Good to hear. Every previous grinder I have ever had did not have an adjustable cover and I just moved myself out of the spark zone. It is hard as well for me to get use to adjusting it

Just got mine with a promotion, got a free power stack battery and charger with it. I’m wondering if you could cut through metal using the blade it came with rather than the cut off?

Nice, yes you could, but you are removing alot of metal with the wide kerf, be slow

If you prefer having a brushless motor with a higher RPM, a kickback brake, anti-wobble pin, as well as an e-clutch system, then the Dewalt DCG413B grinder may be the best choice for your needs. Conversely, if you prefer a brushed motor and don’t need as high of an RPM, as well as a quick-change wheel release, and great durability, then the Dewalt DCG412B grinder may be the best choice for you
