Thanks for the video. I was having an issue with my ts11-j just like this one. Thermocouple checked out ok, and I assumed it was the solenoid but upon pulling apart like you, I could get the solenoid to hold the main valve open but when I pushed in in while exciting the valve with a heated thermocoupler... end result after watching your video was a bad center spring that had collapsed. When you try and light the pilot, it would light, but when you let off the button it goes out. That collapsed spring wasn’t slowing the assistance of it to push it forward so the solenoid could take over and hold it locked open. Since my little center spring wasn’t piping that end out and was sunken in, it looked like it was just one solid piece and made that way... if I didn’t see your video I’d assume the end was supposed to be flat and not popped out by that tiny spring which again helps assist the valve in opening BUT also helps assist in seating the valve in an open locked position. Thank you very much!!!

Great that it helped. I learn so much from other people's videos that I feel obligated to try and give something back.

How did you fix your issue? Because I’m having the same trouble as yourself. Or did you buy a new one? If so through where?

Yeah. Kinda expensive for the construction though.

And really expensive for something that simple. Nice idea though to cut off the gas when the pilot is off.
