It definitely can be lol especially as you scale up, but I also think I could have done it way cheaper if I bought everything second hand from marketplace and really knew what I was looking for. I see people score full set ups for like $1000-$1500. Thanks for watching!

Yeah the DIY is cheaper but with all due respect the Red Sea looks a lot better. I think it would be a better comparison if your build had the same modern, clean look like the Red Sea setup has.

I completely agree Red Sea looks way better! My original goal was never to compete with the look of a Red Sea, so to me this was just a fun comparison to make. Also I think the price difference does speak for itself because for some people, the time it takes to save up extra money for a Red Sea could be spent as an additional few years in the hobby with cheaper gear.
