What are you talking about you can take a teskid block modular 4.6L, stock forged crank and throw some rods and pistons in it with untouched heads (porting wise), new valves and stock cams and make 2000+hp all day for well well under 5K. That's all you need to do with these 4v modular.

Easy. Get a different intake manifold and build the rest like a GTE. The rods and pistons and crank are all the same geometry, but different materials on the GTE. Easy as cake.

I think it's more of a cost/reliability thing because the white car has a 2jz ge not a gte and those are cheap junk yard motors and jz engines are easier to make power cheaper I would have loved to see an RB in the car but I can see why they choose jz
