Another short video running through setting of the tappets on our TVO Standard Engine. The manual says to set the Exhaust at 12 thou and the Inlet at 10 thou when the engine is cold.

Hi boys, I also saw your other video where you installed the brass plug in the cylinder head with loktight. I also had 2 small cracks around the white plug, quite similar to yours. Like yours it looked very minor but I had NDT test done on the head and it showed the cracks went right along the length of the cylinder head running parallel to the valves, but could only be seen on NDT - could not see it with naked eye or magnifying glass. Just thought I would let you know might be worth triple checking yours! Jon

@@WaterhouseForde yeh I would do the same, after a short initial run might be worth to quickly take the tank off, pop off the rocker cover and have a look to make sure, and check your sump.

I’m not sure about the TO30, but with the England series, normally people will replace the sleeves so that they can fit std rings. An engineering shop will be able to measure yours accurately and advise on the best way forward. 😉👍
