Tree man here. Hey John now you need a radar detector. Escort max 360c with a visual alert on your dashboard. It's going to be very difficult to obey the speed limit. Every time I ride my 2020 street glide special with the 131 I'm speeding/breaking the law. I'm still smiling everytime I ride. Great videos john.

That’s what I said about my big bore kit. It’s nowhere near overwhelming power. It feels like it should have came factory with that power.

Fantastic John. So how much does this full kit cost installed at cycleworks?? (Oops. I didn't see the end request not to ask but you really should say as it's apromo for cycleworks.) So a range of price if there are options. Thx

The torque is the more important number. That is what your feeling when you blip it and contributes to the smoothness because of your torque curve . HP is just a calculation of power. This is all true in accordance to a V twin now a sport bikes is a different story vs being over and under square engine
@vernlochtefeld16263 жыл бұрын
Both have their value some applications you want torque bias others horsepower bias. Torque is how much work it will do horsepower how fast it will do it or accelerate it. Both at any given rpm. If it doesn’t have enough torque to do the work or overcome the resistance say to move at a faster speed in a given gear it doesn’t matter how much HP you have. Conversely as long as you have enough torque to overcome the resistance required to move faster in a particular gear then only horsepower matters as to how fast it will accelerate it. My Harley is aftermarket geared low. In 5th gear it easily & rapidly pulls to just past peak horsepower at 6200 rpm at about 122 mph. In 6th gear it pulls hard to 140 mph then stops like it hit a wall at 5,800 why?.. Torque had dropped to where it was insufficient to do the work of overcoming the resistance of going faster.

You going to wrap the tank and rear fender as well? Bike seems awesome... Going with stage 2 this year (wood 22XE cam, Jackpot Slip-ons, V&H power duals, Arlen Ness AC, Power Vision, and 2020+ oil pump), but next year, going to be eying a 128... Have to wait until I can afford all the supporting mods (heads, Throttle body, intake manifold, clutch, comp, transmission upgrade, injectors)... Hear 3rd gear is super weak and breaks easily (even on stock bikes). Want to be able to beef it all up at once.
