Now that all the cleaning is done and we have sourced the parts needed, we start reassembling the Steering Box. In this video we focus on the steering column and the main steering gearbox. In the next video we will move to installing on the tractor and setting up the steering.

Hi Charles, thank you. Oh man! 38 degrees is hot! We lived in Adelaide for a few years and whilst it was sometimes too hot it was generally lovely. I definitely prefer too hot over to cold. 😉 I’ll let him know. I’m thinking about bribing him 🤣 Keep well and stay cool. 👍😉

The reason the washer goes on bottom is so the nut won’t impact the bearing when turning wheel.
