He was going SO FAST. That was completely unnecessary. He could have accomplished what he wanted by slowly rolling through the stop sign and having the cop pull him over. That way, he would have seen the motorcyclist and stopped in time.

If that were my son, it’d be 50x’s that amount. I pray for that young man’s health and well being. His poor family having to endure seeing him in the hospital (right before Christmas, too). Back in the 60s we had a real jerk with money, had an expensive race car. Had a whole bunch of rich jerk friends. Used to brag how he could take the curve at 160 mph. Car was light, engine was oversized, and the bunch of the rich jerk friends kept telling him he was lying, so 6 of them piled into his race car with him. He took it up to 160 He wasn't too bright when it came to book work. None of them were, I unlike those of us they beat up every day and got away with it. Clearly knew nothing about physics. Myself and another of their daily victims listened as they talked. Despite them being sadistic monsters, I told them not to do it. I told them the added weight would change the way the car would react and there was no way adding 1000 pounds was going to be safe. They gave me a few really nice punches knocking out several of my teeth. At the curve was a tree. BIG huge old 4 foot diameter tree. He raced down the back road for 3 miles, getting up to 160. He turned the wheel at the curve, but the race car just continued straight, wheels left the rubber streaks on the asphalt as it went straight ahead, 160 mph, into the tree. The sound was like an explosion, like a bomb went off, from a mile away. All 7 dead OH, you would not believe how much drama there was. How much blame was put on everyone except the rich kids. Had that been 7 poor kids, they would have not cared The families sued everyone and they made the highway department redo the road. There is still a curve but it is very minimal. Not the 30 degrees it used to be. The tree is still there. Parts of the car grown around the car parts mangled into it from the crash. So, this rich kid will get off Scott free.

@broseywales5538 ... according to the accusation of the kid. Saying there is no dispute does not actually mean it's true, agreed upon, or in any way beyond dispute. In fact, rarely, if ever, is the term used when there's no dispute. If it was a fact, it would be listed as Officer John Doe stated. He told the kid it was okay to run the stop sign. Notice the rest of that says things such as kid said this, kid maintains that, ect? Is there a chance? Sure, but as of what's presented here, there's nothing supporting your accusation other than the kid said. The kids' accusations are highly improbable and outrageous. You need ironclad proof for a claim that insane. Rolling the stop sign is more probable but still out there, agreeing to let the kid speed not even remotely believable. Even if they agreed to the kid rolling the stop sign. Fire them definitely, but that in no way can be linked to responsible for the kids insane speeding thru the parking lot and stop sign. However, lawyers go after money, not responsible parties. If they can find any way to link a party that has money, they'll definitely find themselves in the lawsuit.
