12v Air compressor nozzle $2 upgrade

AVID is the brand of portable air compressor I have & like. It operates on it's own 20V Li Ion Rechargeable battery or its 12V cigarette lighter adapter. I replaced it nozzle with the AstroA1 brand of quick connect/disconnect nozzle which are available on amazon. Yes, I then had to go to the hardware store to find a 1/4" Male NPT adapter for 3/16" Inside Diameter hose.

@@orbitaaltube Yes. The AstroA1 hose nozzle has 2 teeth that clamp onto the valve stem. And I won't have replace the rubber insert that periodically needed to be replaced in the old style of hose connector that came with the air compressor.

I was curious with the current nozzle in my truck. Apparently there is only one thing to do: cutting. Just like in this example, it is impossible to remove or replace it directly without cutting. Thank you!

Bought two and they are junk. Will not push the valve down enough to inflate.

That's a pity the ones I have are fine. They were ordered through eBay at this link below.
