You can remove the axle easier if you first cut off the leading arms. This will provide access to the front welds for your angle grinder.

Notice the four lug nut pattern on the spare tire, The new axle I bought had a five lug nut pattern.

Yes! There are both 4 and 5 lug scamps, although I’m not sure what year it switched. Replacements can be had with either.

I have a 1977 13ft scamp. It has a cracked above the "bolt on" axle. Need floor too. I need help fixing this. Can you guys help ?
