Nicely done. I love the “keep it closer” tip. Gonna give some of the tips a try next time I’m using my gimble. Also looks like the manfrotto is a nice piece of gear with this end of pole remote attachment.

It is amazing how much weight you can take off when you keep the gimbal closer. I'm glad you enjoyed the video

Some great tips here I haven't tried before. Will definitely have to give 'em a try. Side note, that Gimboom looks EXACTLY like one of the legs from the Manfrotto Fast Single Carbon tripod. Now I wish they were removable on mine, haha.

It is very similar but not 100% the same. The mechanism is the same, but the end parts are different and the Gimboom has 3 attachment points that are very cleverly placed. If I was Manfrotto, I would make one of the legs on the FAST detachable to be a monopod. But I am not Manfrotto. LOL

Awesome video, good tips! Especially using longer lenses; wide angle gets you a 'meh' look . Might need to hire a focus puller next time tho :)

I am happy you liked it. Sony has a great autofocus but I agree it does not compare to a trained focus puller

Wow nice. If I’m not mistaken the dancer is Danielle Stephen ? We meet many years ago in Macau. All the best for you guys 🙂

Yes, it's Danielle. She is, indeed, quite amazing. It's a really small world, isn't it?

What did you do for the drone shot? It looks like you attached the gimbale to the gimbook but also attached to another monopod??

What if you're stuck with a prosumer camcorder instead of DSLR?
