You truly have done a great job thus far explaining what happened. When this happened I was personally mentally numb from this whole covid- I did not follow this much, it opened past trauma from being not far from the masa shooting of offices in Moncton by Justin it was just all too much! Hearing these details, the love and care you took to tell this story as it should be more focused on the victims and the offices issues !! Well done!!

A "perfect" storm of madness. I cant imagine the confusion in those first hours let alone the rest of it. I'm not surprised that mistakes were made. Perhaps you and your team can shed some light on other massacres. Orlando and Las Vegas. Thanx for a very insightful program.

at least in both cases the shooter didn't leave the scene and the cops went after him. This shooter in Scotia escaped the scene and put that whole area in terror for 13 hours

I don't know how you expect authorities to identify multiple bodies when the medical examiner, and the coroner are involved. It was a crime.

I still remember waking up to the horrifying news of the deaths climbing, I live about an hour and some away from where this began and still over a year later find myself thinking of all the victims from day to day, I can't even fathom what the families and friends are going through. Really just wish the truth would come out on the events to give some sort of closure to families. The red flags were everywhere! NS strong always.

In nursing school, back in 1989-1991, we were always taught to never ASSUME anything!! I then learned in a seminar years later, that when you ASSUME something, it makes an ASS out of U and ME= ASSUME

In Nova Scotia case they need to fund the police. You guys need more officers. It shouldn't take 30 mins for a cop to arrive onto the scene and that cop needs backup and a lot of it to deal with an unknown mass shooter

Terry Ford sad to see that your parents spelt your name with the "MALE" spelling. I feel for you. THE US LAW ENFORCE IS BEHIND THE TIMES & STILL USE ANTIQUATE TIME WASTING PROCEDURES THAT OTHER COUNTRIES STOPPED USING 40 YEARS AGO........ Example: "walk the line & touch your nose" road side "VISUAL" intoxication testing !!!!!!

Lisa McCully's (MURDERED) family expressed their profound appreciation to the Members of the RCMP .......... And Lisa's sister, Jenny's, comments about the HUGE GRIEVANCE WITH WHAT THE RCMP BUT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD HAVE DONE, GRATEFUL FOR THE COURAGE THAT THE FIRST RESPONDERS DEMONSTRATED ............. HEROIC ACTIONS !!!!!! I never understand why people who DO NOT know all of the FACTS let alone understand what was actually happening on the ground !!!!!! "John feeling he was left in the Dark" ........... If RMCP didn't contact him why didn't HE CONTACT the RMCP - one phone call for John, (did he want them to take someone away from investing what had happened to phone all the families involved ?? !!!!! ).SELFISH JOHN !!!!! Families making ONE phone call at a time they choose to ask for an update, & are up to receiving more news) to find out if there were any updates. In this type of situation some people do NOT want updates, do NOT want to have Police continuously opening the wounds back up. People GREIVE DIFFERENTLY. Wasn't John capable of making a phone or was he just SELFISH & LAZY ???????

Trust is beautiful: Betrayal, heartbreaking. At the heart of every traumatic human experience in private or public it becomes an act of betrayal. A jealous vindictive friend, the adulterous husband, or cheating wife, a promiscuous lover, are some of the most hurtful experience in relationships! No matter how strong you think you are betrayal and cheating are desimating... Broken heart crushed soul... That pain can paralyze spouses into a depressive state of bitterness apathy and retribution. The evil you conjure up with your betrayal and partication in your adulterous affairs could end desdly in revenge murder and mayham. Calk it Payback?! Ypur Betrayal parallels Rape. Your Adultry parallels Murder. Adultry is not a victimless crime. Dear selfish me me me...Do you understand the damage you caused to others

I'm sure those young boys would love to see those heroes in action as they guarded that house they were in, like superheros in their eyes. So, maybe the family can FOIA all of the body cam footage of the TAC TEAM HEROS so they can save it for those kids for when they're ready to see just how great our RCMP was as they were allegedly surrounding and protecting that home full of children

This is weird Monday morning quarterbackihg. What difference does it make that he tricked the police? It's their fault? This seems like a witch hunt approach. I'm not gonna listen to more episodes. Sorry I'm not one of these gushing sycophants who appreciates your story. You are great at making the information come together, but the main premise is inappropriately devisive. Accidental and alleged incompetence is not the same corruption and misconduct. Booooo
