13” MacBook Air Retina 2019 (A1932) EMC 3184
*This guide can also work for MacBook Air 2020 A2179 EMC 3302 but please note that the speakers each have a screw now and the trackpad is accessible without removing the logic-board.

Hi, great video thanks! I have a 2013 11" Macbook air and I suspect that the Thunderbolt port no longer works as when I plug an external monitor into it nothing happens, plus the wireless mouse (magic mouse 2) goes all jerky when you move it. I have upgraded Mac OS to Big Sur, and have also reset NVRAM/PRAM, and also tried cleaning the port with a compressed air cannister, but it makes no difference. Do you know whether the process of replacing the port will be similar to that shown in the video? and if so can you please suggest where in the UK I can purchase a new port from? Many thanks :)

Yes these are USB C not Thunderbolt
