I never watched the LP when it was coming out because of how much Woolie talked about how great this game was so I wanted to play it for myself and not be spoiled by watching an LP. I bought it myself (and then after clearing through a bit of a backlog) and I finished it earlier this year. This is without a doubt one of the greatest pieces of media I've consumed and I can only thank Woolie for putting this game on my radar to begin with. A true hidden gem of our time.

That said, it's a little unfair to put on the game that because you got enough references (from a game that does wear its references on its sleeves ) a good chunk of the game is "filler". You might have kinda "missed the point" and saying something akin to purposeful misdirection in a story is a waste of time if you know it's misdirection.

It was one of the most interesting games I've ever seen, yet I never heard a word spoken about it aside from y'all's playthrough.
