I met my boyfriend at a dance. His name is Hamish. We first met when my friend was hooking me up with guys (like asking them if they wanted to dance with me) she practically pulled me all the way across the room to where this boy was standing. Then she asked "Hi! do you wanna dance with my friend?!" He accepted with a smile. he put his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. We starred into each other's eyes and got talking, at first it was awkward like dancing with random guys usually is. The great thing was that me and him are exactly the same height. I was looking everywhere for him and was telling my friends how much I want to see him again. I was hanging around the stage when our eyes met again. He smiled and waved, so did I. My friend called him over and we hung out for a while, eventually me and him started dancing again. After a couple of dances he reached his arms out and pulled me into a hug. It wasn't just any hug. He wrapped his arms around me and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He pulled me close so that our chests were pressing together. I could feel butterflies in my stomach, I felt tingles. We would hug for a very long time, swaying from side to side. I would place my head on his shoulder or put our ears together. We just kept getting tighter. Eventually I had to go home. We exchanged numbers and headed our own ways. Even though we just met it felt as if I had met my soul mate. He tells me how beautiful I am and how I deserve more. Not all rushed relationships are bad ones. You can meet your soul mate any age and any time. You will know if you have met your soul mate, you will know it in your heart.

A shy guy will almost ALWAYS be afraid of ANY direct interaction with the girl he likes. I can totally relate! I have this friend who really likes me and I like him. He was unable to come to my party and I haven't seen him in months. Something really horrible happened to his brother and he was unable to make it. He hasn't replied to any of my messages in about 5 or 6 days and I'm not really sure what to do. Honestly, I wouldn't know what to do either but if anything happens let me know and maybe we can help each other out. Boys are really confusing and sometimes they are hard to understand. I also just kind of want to mention that even if all these signs are here, don't write it off as he has no interest in you. I knew a guy liked me, he wouldn't stop talking about it to his friends and they told me, we even went out four years ago and he liked me even more after wards and still does (he told me). But because I have known him for about 4/5 years he doesn't need to do any of these things, and he doesn't do them. So if you think a guy likes you - he probably does. And even if he doesn't I think you should spark up more conversations so he can see the beauty of your personality more, or if you do know him - act differently around him, more flirty or cheeky so he KNOWS you now feel differently about him so he can see what you're like. Don't write it off.

I have a couple of male friends, Adam and Larry, who I think don't truly care about me. They say they do, but I don't believe them. They sometimes ignore me, sometimes don't say a lot to me, don't always stick to their promises, make up excuses, and rarely like or comment on my posts. Larry is more rude than Adam. I sometimes usually initiate the conversations and I've told Larry to make it fair. We should alternate initiating the conversations. When we text or message each other, he sometimes only types one word replies or very short replies. I've told him the shows he doesn't care about me. He said he won't do it again, but he continues to. When Larry and I first met, he used to message me and text me a lot, but he doesn't that much anymore. I guess he is not interested in me anymore, even though he says he is interested. Adam, on the other hand, is the opposite. When Adam and I first met, he and I didn't talk that much and then, we started talking more and getting to know each other more. I feel like both of these guys don't care about me and I should stop being their friend.

you shouldn't really focus on these signs, im sorry but i'm a guy and me and all of my friends have lots of these things. These are based on stereotypes which aren;t true. For instance most of us don't introduce our girls to each other for a reason. We are a bit weird and like to test new people and just tease them. All of us wait with introducing a girl because we know that if she isn't sure of the relationship our friends will only make her feel out of place. second example is people don;t always like to share.. i have a lot of family problems and im not the only one not really a nice conversation starter. The paying thing is bullshit not everyone has money. I have a date in 2 weeks i have about 5 euros to spare to buy something small for her. But i'm rather poor so i cannot pay a lot. already gathering the money out of the small corners of my wallet makes a girl special. texting is also untrue as i am one of those guys who people constantly want to talk to and always text me. i just put my phone on silent because i don;t want to talk constantly to people so there is a huge chance that i missed the text and will read it in a couple of hours. These are stereotypes which in some cases are true but should not be guidelines to how to know if a guy doesn;t like you. Easiest way to find out ask him if he wants to go out sometime. that's the advice from a guy. Why ask it so bluntly ? because i talk out of experience i've had girls who liked me but they try to be subtle and flirt and *grow* into a relationship as lizzie said. But lots of guys don;t notice it when you do that. Even if they like you or not they just don;t notice it. not that they don;t want to but just that they don;t understand all your intentions.

Alright, so I feel that, as a guy, I should mention that these signs are not always true. However, some are, so I would say that you should follow the 'Three Strikes' rule. Some guys are natural flirts, but not players. In fact, some girls are too, they flirt even when they have no interest in someone. Sad, but true, so even with a personality like that, if you can mark off three of these signs, it may help you get a better idea, but don't rely on all of them. ^.^ Take it, leave it, or say I'm a moron, whatever suits you!

A lot of these points are true however it's not always the guys fault, we were actually going to make a list of points like this on our website but decided not to because there are currently so many 'signs a guy doesn't like you' articles around now and not enough solid advice on how to actually MAKE a guy like you which is based on on solid psychological science - maybe if you did a video on that it would be really helpful.

#4: Forgetting shy guys again. Some guys cross their arms when theyre uncomfortable. When I was in high school I would sometimes do that around girls I liked just because I was in an uncomfortable situation and was nervous, so I was unconsciously guarded.

You are probably friendzoned.... I did this to a girl who really liked me but I didn't feel the same way about her. However! You can do a little test to find out. Seeing as you guys are already touching, look for a situation where you can give him a PLAYFUL peck on the cheek. If he is ok with it, then that means he may like you. If you sense awkwardness then he sees you as just a friend.

If he's being serious it's EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE, he's probably nervous because he REALLY LIKES YOU. All the guys I know say exactly the same thing. And if he's totally relaxed it's probably because he doesn't care what you think of him at all and doesn't like you.
