Amen!!!! I’ve started my weight loss journey around Jan. 15, 2022! I started at 304🤦🏾♀️ .. my heaviest ever! I weighed today at 283🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾 ! I am doing a lot of research and YouTubing!!! I read Motivational stories at Black Weight-loss Success.. I am doing there Meatless in March challenge. I drink a gallon in water a day!!! I’m eating smart. I’m meal prepping. I am starting to work out every morning before my prayer call and one small one before going to bed! One day at a time. I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me… AND the joy of the Lord is my strength. Blessings to you who are on this journey. I’m praying for you and with you! YOU CAN DO IT. Guys,the more weight you have on you ,the easier it will be to shed some weight. If you only have 10 to 20 pounds to lose, it will be harder since our bodies like to store a little bit of fat .

1. Be mindful of how much sleep is healthy for you. If I sleep eight hours then I feel like crap. 7 hours works best for me. Focus more on a routine. 2. I listened to this NPR podcast about the science of weight loss and your body is working against you. Your diet is what loses weight but studies show that EXERCISE is what keeps it off. They recommended doing 1 hour per day to maintain. The podcast is called LifeKit 3. Focus on mindful eating and you’ll go far. You don’t want to spend the rest of your life scared of food. Trust me, it suuuucks

Congratulations I’m determined to reach my goal grief and trauma contributed to me gaining 76 pounds over a 15 year period I topped out at 276 I’Ve started losing and am focused. I fell short and just came off a 2 week binge I’ve forgiven myself and realize it’s human and am back focused. It’s amazing how experiences affect how we eat. I binged not realizing unconsciously I was comforting myself from my baby sister passing away this time last year . I’ve redirected how I chose to deal with that grief and am continuing my journey.

I think depending on your routine and when you go to sleep, not to eat at least 2 hours before (at the minimum) maybe a smaller meal would be better so it’s not so heavy on your digestive system.

I find calisthenics works best for me. No weights for the most part, use your own weight. I do head to a gym but find that I use the equipment minimally.

They are wonderful and real. The point you made about depression and overeating made me realize I was depressed a little while back and that I need to sleep more to not be impulsive. You have helped me a great deal and I hope we both exceed our goals. I just finished a 21 day nutrition plan and lost 6 pounds. I am very proud of myself. I am working on continuing with that plan and increasing exercising and fasting. I want to lose at least 40 more lbs.

Chipotle is healthy relatively speaking, just have to do portion control. Get a kids meal and eat it in 2 portions.

Or get a regular portion and eat enough to satisfy you. Them kids portions ain’t hitting on nothing and Chipotle comes with a lot of protein and fiber depending on what you get.

@@syds8752 a serving size of meat is 4 oz, the size of a deck of cards. So a kids meal at Chipotle is more than a regular portion too. It's cheaper and closer to 1 serving so that's why I suggested it.
