Oh girl I feel you on that. My baby is 13 months and I lost the baby weight then gained it all back. Transitioning to 3 kids was really a struggle for me. I’m currently 197 and I want to be around 140s-150s .

Giving yourself gifts/rewarding yourself for working hard to lose weight is an amazing idea. When I was 252lbs, I told myself that when I get out of the 200s I would get my hair cut finally. It was rough to do. I started in June 2021 and I stopped trying for a while even gaining 20lbs back in a month, but when I started my job I started eating healthy again and wasn't binging as often. Before I knew it I was able to get out of the 200s and today I got my hair cut. I'm so happy that I was able to make this change for my appearance and health. I definitely need to think of another reward for when I get to 145lbs, but I don't know what to get yet.

I'm in the same place. I've lost 43 pounds since February 13. The past 4 weeks I've been bouncing between 185 & 180 despite intermittent fasting with rolling 48s & 72s. I refeed with strict carnivore, no dairy. Would you be interested in joining a weight loss group on Whatsapp if I made one so we can motivate each other? I asked 2 other people on this video also. I need like minded individuals in my life. No one I know is dedicated or disciplined to get healthy.

@@calisongbirdrolling 48's and 72's is a fasting time frame. 48 hours (2 days) no food only water...72 hours (3 days) no food only water. Usually after the water fast you eat healthy foods for a few days then go back to fasting. Visit the channel...A Healthy Alternative...this gentlemen promotes fasting and explains everything in detail. Hope this helps.

you're gorgeous. i have 2 suggestions portion plates. i find they take the guess work out of portion control. and secondly i use a brita filter for water. i drink so much water now that buying bottled water wouldn't be good for my wallet, but you do you. also i find putting frozen fruit like pineapple or the ends from cucumbers ( i save the ends in the freezer) helps me drink more water

Good eating habits can be enhanced by good table manners. How about having having regular meal times, setting a table (w/ dishes, cups/glasses, and flatware, not paper & plastic), and sitting down together and eating at same time.

To explain the eating more to overcome a plateau: You are building muscle and losing weight simultaneously so sometimes you need a smaller caloric deficit and sometimes you need a calorie surplus to supplement your muscle gain. Sometimes the scale will go up because you put the weight back in muscle instead of fat, but the most important goal is getting enough protein (within your daily calorie intake) to sustain your muscle gain. Sounds like you are doing everything you need to do so best of wishes to you! You are killing it!

Mind you I’m a VERY busy mother of four children (4-14 yo) I think knowing my fitness goal and making sure I stick to the plan is paramount amongst all other factors. I’m 63 and vegan for 8 years. I will encourage you to keep the weight off. By the time you are 60, it will be EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to lose weight after age 60. At that age, you won’t be able to lose weight so quickly as you describe here in this video.

Reward yourself with every step. Like every 10 lbs loss get a mani/pedi, buy new shoes, etc. Just dont reward with food. Trying to lose 100 myself but i kinda get scared to take my weight for fear i didnt lose that week. Any suggestions?

I've been bouncing between 185 & 180 for the past 5 weeks despite intermittent fasting (rolling 48s & 72s) for 12 weeks and being strict carnivore with 800 calorie refeeds. What you say about having a bigger meal to break a plateau intrigues me. If I haven't broke into the 170s by June 1, I'm going to plan a big, healthy refeed. I've been craving cookout food. I'd just love a burger with a bun & a huge bowl of fruit. I just need to be careful as I have a tendency to binge eat if I go off plan. Thinking I can plan the meal out like I do with my refeeds and I should be golden. Do you know how many calories you consumed when you were out to dinner with your Mom? I still have 50 pounds to lose to get to an acceptable weight for my height so I know the stall isn't because I'm getting lean just yet. I am so motivated & thankful you popped up on my suggestion play list

Such an inspiration for being so much younger than me. You too have a beautiful young daughter. I'm in my late 50's so, yes, I've got more weight to lose than I ever would have at a younger age. When I hit menopause in my earlier 50's, a sweet tooth kicked in that I never had before so, now, I'm paying the price with all the extra weight. Thanks for all the great idea's.

I turned 54 in April, and the struggle is real. The weight comes off much more slowly for me now - but it’s coming off, which is the important part. At 5’4”, I had gotten to my highest weight of 212 in November 2020, and was absolutely shocked. I’m now 188.5 and consider my healthy weight to be around 145ish, depending on how much muscle I’m carrying. It shocked me how quickly weight can pile on if I’m not careful with my habits. I had let things get waaaay out of control due to challenges like caring for my dying mother in 2019, and all the family upheaval and drama that followed her death. But I’m gradually getting back to a healthier place.

I'm sorry that I'm commenting a lot. I think that you are absolutely wonderful and EVERYTHING you've said about mindset and lifestyle and determination and all of these things is 100% on point. I just worry a little about you in a couple things. First, you should definetely talk to your doctor about the speed that you're taking the weight off. The healthiest way to do it is about 2 pounds a week. I'll be honest when I say that I aim for about 2.5 a week, but losing weight too quickly could be bad for your heart. 83 pounds in 5 months is a lot. Taking into account that it was a 100 lb weight loss that you were aiming for the weight does drop quicker at larger weights, but be careful and talk to your doctor to make sure you're ok and that the pace your keeping won't hurt you. Keep going like you are... but make a doctor's appointment and inquire.

I’ve never had surgery. Yes, I know my body quite well and I was living an unhealthy lifestyle prior and now I’m living very healthy along with exercising regularly

Following people that give you inspiration is good advice. I've actually had to unfollow people because I felt like I wasn't doing enough even though I've been making good progress. I work full time have kids that are in sports so we're super busy. I still manage to work out daily (30 minutes as well) and eat right but some influencers made me feel like should be doing more. Like working out several hours a day. When I would have down days I would feel bad that I'm not doing something but have to remind myself I need to let my body rest. I've enjoyed watching your journey. It's real and relatable.

If your THYROID is not converting T3 to T4, you will have issues, even though the doctor SAYS that your T3 levels are good. NEWSFLASH: MANY doctors do a SUPERFICIAL treatment of thyroid issues and NEVER resolve the problem. DON’T let them get away with that!!! DO YOUR RESEARCH on your thyroid! Also, make sure your PARATHYROID gland does NOT have a tumor /tumors!! www.parathyroid.com is a GOLDMINE of info!! Read as much of that website as you possibly can!!! Hormonal problems can really wreck the metabolism. You must learn about your hormonal system, because frankly, the doctors don’t care! Sorry to be so negative, but YOU must educate YOURSELF and have good KNOWLEDGE and EVIDENCE and a COOPERATIVE doctor! People PERISH without knowledge!! All Grace to you!!!

Love being around positive people says it all. I was loosing weight and one of my coworkers purchased my favorite candy bar and placed it on my desk. Six candy bars……really saw the jealousy. I wish she would have joined me instead of trying to bring me down. She was at least 150 pounds over weight, me about 40 pounds.
