Awesome list, but one thing about using flushable wipes-many countries have plumbing and sewer systems that can’t handle this. Something that I’ve found that is better is a portable bidet. It’s basically a bottle of water with a special spray attachment. I find it cleaner than wipes and then you have no plumbing issues. Within the US, wipes are a great option though.

The "travel pharmacy" is honestly very underrated. I was in the everglades and sliced my toe open last year. Of course the everglades are a near hour drive to any major facility, but I carry gauze, tape, and bandage to wrap my foot well until I can get somewhere for the professionals to take over. My portable pharmacy is only that, to get me through an emergency until someone more equipped can help.

I’m in Europe right now, Romania to be specific, and I can’t stress enough to those of us who suffer from heat… please please please BRING A FAN (portable or rechargeable, whatever). People here have the belief that fans are not ok, or even dangerous for your health, and they don’t use them, and the AC …very very little. I also struggle when asking for cold drinks and they were almost at room temperature so make sure you ask for ice cubes. Make that little fan a MUST in your travel essentials, even more for Europe (I’m from South America and we happily use fans and AC). You will thank me later.

I will put it in my carry on when I’m flying through countries that do not mind them, but I make sure to check it when flying Through countries that do not allow scissors, or metals of any kind that can “be used as a weapon” (india is one of them.
