@mikolajstrozewski3 жыл бұрын
taller than you should be? that applies only to freakishly tall players whose hands are too big to shoot the ball and they don't care to work on that, make no excuse to be unable to shoot at 5'8 when you're 13 years old, because you can say bye-bye to becoming a better player

I got a question so I'm in eighth and every time I'm 1v1ing or guarding PG I put my had on there hip so if they drive I can mess them up a bit but dont know if it's a foul and 2 if I hollow out they normally go for a shot instead of a layup wat should i do
@SummitMedia283 жыл бұрын
It is a foul but may not get called every time. Try having less distance between you and the player when hollowing out. It’s the space he feels from you that makes him feel comfortable taking an open shot.

Nah they can, I'm a great defender and have used many techniques and and I get a hold of my opponents tendencies, but if they get a little space off u they can work their combo under pressure mixed with a snatch back or chicken wing and throw you off balance, or simply blow by you.

Sorry coach, I highly disagree with crossing over your feet when defending someone. As you showed it is very easy to get crossed up (17:30). Once I see you cross your feet I'm going the other way and even if you recover I'll change directions again keeping you off balance. It's a good technique but you need some really quick feet.
