13 Ways To SECURE Flat Surfaces To Conduit!

While editing this I realized there's a couple of things that I forgot to include in this video that I think are worth mentioning. 1. The rule about getting a bolt or screw that secures the material without going completely through it applies to pretty much all of the methods. 2. When I talked about pipes interfering with a flat surface I failed to mention that in those builds you should support the material with the longest pipes in the build. Basically if your shelf for example is really narrow but deep then you will want the side pipes supporting the material. If your shelf is really wide but not that deep then you should use the front and back pipes to support the flat surface. But don't the shelves basically rest, not on the pipes, but on the connectors themselves at the corners? That is, unless the shelves bend. The connectors are 1/8th thicker than the pipe so the shelves sit on them at the corners, not the pipes directly. I've been thinking of adding connectors in the middle of the 3-foot wide shelf unit I'm starting to build so that it doesn't droop in the middle even this 1/8th of an inch. Am I wrong, or too worried about 1/8 of an inch?

I made an open shelf unit for my brother and used the threaded pipe inserts on both sides of the shelf and linked them together with a length of all thread. Since the hole I drilled just allowed the all thread to go through I could screw the conduit tight to the shelf.

Can you show or give me any ideas for how to make a custom oval shower rail to go over a freestanding tub? I was going to use 3/4 emt and was trying to figure out a T for connect to wall and ceiling.

Any chance you have more information or a source for the table pictured at the 6:45 mark? There's a lot of bracing in that structure and it might work for a bed frame I'm working on for our van. Or give me a few ideas on how to approach it.
