Shawn. Good one! That's how you put divas back down to earth. Just stick a finger in their nose. That was a LOL!

I remember the first time I heard. My best friend and I were about 13 and watching a frien who was a few years older replace a carburetor in his car. He had the car radio on and "Sherry" came on the radio. He stopped what he was doing and turned the radio up. None of us had heard them before (it was their first hit), and we were completely blown away. Loved the reaction! It's so much fun watching Zoey get introduced to the old classic hits!

Franki Valli + 4 Seasons best song is CANT TAKE MY EYES OFF OF YOU. Featured in the epic DeNiro movie THE DEERHUNTER.

I was two when this came out, so I grew up hearing it. "Sherry" would be great next.

As I recall, Big Girls Don’t Cry was their second hit, Sherry being their first hit. I suggest you listen to that one, too. The movie Jersey Boys is the story of how the Four Seasons started and follows their career. It was directed by Clint Eastwood, so you know it’s great!

The four seasons were really great had a string of hits. One of my favourites is Rag doll. But there are plenty of others. East coast band, New Jersey. I preferred them to the Beach boys from Ca. They were almost rivals.

Yes…. Way back…..My brother liked The Beach Boys & I liked the 4 Seasons… but to be honest, I really do love them both. Just different styles which is why I love the earlier music… variety & creativity!

The Four Seasons played at Carowinds Theme Park. I was working there that summer. The park had to close due to capacity limit. There were so many people security had to bring us food and rides to bathrooms.

I'm not a huge Madonna fan, and initially didn't care too much for Material Girl - but the official video puts a different spin on it!
@tedcole99367 күн бұрын
@ Also not a big fan, but these 2reacting to that video would be interesting. The only Madonna song I really really love is “Live to Tell”… it’s quite on the serious topic of truth, and the emotions around survival to live to tell the truth. Quite contrary to a typical pop song.

It gives me hope for the younger generation to see and hear them responding so positively to these songs of the early 1960s, just like we did when we were kids. It's also great to see how you two bond so well on this channel. Take advantage of the times you spend together. As others have commented, your daughter will be an adult before you know it. Blink and you'll miss it.

Great song by the Four Seasons. Not too sure if your daughter has heard these fun classic songs yet: Yakety Yak or Along Came Jones from The Coasters, Witch Doctor by David Seville or Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah by Allan Sherman
