A nice simple video. Honest long term review. Have 50 hours on my '22 300rr. All good so far.

Looking at a used 22 300rr, anything I should be on the lookout for? Low hour things or high hour?

Nice review, It’s am amazing bike, very reliable. Mines on 300+ hours on the same original piston, hard enduro mainly from the uk. It is however down on power and I may do it soon. If you haven’t already done so, the main thing that makes a difference is changing the slave cylinder as it can get a lip on the inside and can make the clutch feel weak. Great vid I’ll be watching more 👍

just change it 150hrs to keep cylinder in good shape. they can go for many hours on one piston, but will create piston slap and damage the cylinder....

Tell me more on removing the bleed screws and compressing the forks? I’ve just picked up a 23 300rr 15 hrs claimed (ive heard the hour clock is hugely inaccurate). I did a wet forest style 3hr enduro I didn’t rate the forks that good at all, hardly better than when I used my stiff mx bike for an enduro one time

I notice a huge difference on the dry / wet mapping bigger than ever bike I’ve ever experienced before! Strange how you didn’t notice

I pull the bleeder screws and compress the forks roughly 1/2" to 1" from the top of the stroke then re-insert the screws while compressed. I try to do this before each day of riding to suck the fork past the stiction zone and get them to move smoother through the stroke.

Great vid a mine as just hit 80hrs 90% 3 hrs racing and blew crank seal that beta uk gave me free of charge and while I was doing that changed piston looked really good too . I've loved the bike feels like your riding the bike not the bike riding you with the carb as seems so smooth ,but got to say the mapping is night a day in my eyes rain mode seems so sluggish. Had my suspension set up yo me a absolutely changed the bike for me

My map switch is super noticeable! I dropped the oil level in my forks to 130mm and crack the bleeders while sitting on the bike before each ride. Super plush and still have about an inch of travel in reserve based on my ziptie around the fork. Might take another 5ml out.

Man Shinko 216 fronts are the heaviest most stiff sidewall- uncompliant tire ive ever experienced on a dirtbike. I weighed them against mx33, mx34, michelin enduro and an at81 and the shinko is 2.1 lbs HEAVIER than every one of them. Get a different front and find out how much better your bike will handle.

The rear wheel is your fault you should be checking them before every ride.

Probably, but when you ride 7 days per week for 6-8 months out of the year these things get missed on occasion. I've never once had another bike do this though which makes me suspect improper assembly. Nonetheless, they've never come loose since the first time I fixed them.
