I recently noticed an increase in tappet noise from the IH B276 at operating revs, so I decided to check the tappet clearance. On this occasion I used the "Method of Nine", which is different to the method I used recently on the Ferguson, so I decided to film this method. In my opinion this is a much simpler method to use and so easy to follow. I hope you enjoy it.

Only thing I can Think off is meby a spring is near to crack or meby 1 spring have lost a Little bit off tention meby ... meby you can try hit all the springs with a plastick ( or outher hammer or bras thing) hammer and listen to the sound off them .. to See if all them sound the same .. I Will think just a Little crac or someting will show reighte away in the sound from them ... outherwise I am not sure Where the sound will come from .. Thanks a lot for your video .. Hi there, as you may have learned from one of our recent videos, we are moving soon, so sadly the Fergy has had to go into storage along with most of the workshop equipment. We are just about done with packing up and transporting everything to the storage unit and expect to have moved in about a months time. Then of course we need to reverse the whole process again! 😮‍💨

I need to do this, my 276 manual says 20 thou hot, presumably it should be less when cold?

Funny enough no. My manual says .020 for both hot and cold 🤗
