First 7 Second SFWD Pass EVER - Ramey Built Civic

This civic is unbelievable! It’s rocking a 2.0L motor, FRONT WHEEL DRIVE..and it’s running 7’s at over 185mph!! Kudos to Ramey Racing and everybody that helped get this car to where it is. It is a BLAST to watch at this years Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals. And congratulations for becoming the FASTEST Sport FWD car in the world. That’s one heck of an accomplishment!

If you want to "get technical" I'll explain to you the entire BBG set-up process for the Motec ECU's and then maybe you'll realize what I said was wasn't being a "smart ass". Each gear has a completely different set of ignition, fueling, and angle tables as well as boost levels which are all set and saved in the .Kal file. These different parameters arent "kicked off" till the gear is selected... they're ready whenever the cars on. Simplified, if the car's ignition is on, BBG is active.

There is a certain, almost uncanny quality to FWD drag cars that I love, but I do not know what it is. I mean, I love seeing FWDs going fast in any form, be it rally, circuit, or drag racing, but something about fat drag tires on the front of a compact hatchback as opposed to the rear of a V8 American boat is fascinating. I almost want to say it is eccentric in a way. In any case, it is always a joy to see FWDs punching up on AWD and RWD competitors. So often overlooked as they are.

I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it "the terminator". First I crouch down in the shower in the classic "naked terminator traveling through time" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme.
