@@sash7759 The track is on the outskirts of a big city, on flat farm land. I live 6.2 driving miles away. I have video of me on my front porch and you can hear the cars doing burnout then running the race. You can continue to call me a liar and be a complete ignorant ass or just accept that I remember that night wondering why the track was louder than usual.

PRO_347 there’s a dirt track 10 miles from my house. I hear them running every weekend during the season. I’ve heard KY Speedway in Owensboro from much farther away. None of those make half the noise as Frigg.

Lmfao nope they should have list he has way more engine and power plus those dudes have setups for no prepped streets not glued down tracks... They would have different suspension and more cu to race for real in track events... If either beat him it'd be sad day for him... if either woulda pull it off it woulda been Ryan who woulda drug his ass if his belt didn't snap.. either way you don't act like a 12 year old when you win by default I never want to lose that way.. but when I do I'm not jumping up and down.. to each his own

All of those guys had plenty of power and money to put any suspension on their car they wanted to. Track or street to claim their setup was wrong is stupid. Add some boost and oh guess what they make similar power. I have watched this studebaker for years at a local 8th mile track and for him to take it and win against guys with more money and better(newer) cars is awesome.

That final race, the camaraderie between drivers, and the whoops and yells of victory from the crew are what real racing is all about. Notice his crewman yelled: "We won Bounty Hunters!" instead of: "We won $20,000!". That there lets you know they are true racers.

Love those '50's Studes. They were way ahead of their time. Aero body was used in a bunch in speed records. All the other car makers were still building "boxes". Too bad they didn't survive the car wars of that period. Guess the average Joes' just weren't ready for such a look. They still look awesome today.
