I get what you're saying, but... If I'm not mistaken, that's a Mossberg Shockwave which is not legally a "short barrel" shortgun. It's legally considered a "firearm", not a shotgun, and isn't subject to the NFA. So, yeah, someone may get their panties in a wad but it's nothing special as far as the law is concerned.

I am so very jealous of that K10, really makes me miss my 72 C20 which was the last year of that body style. Was such a reliable, rugged truck but couldn't afford to drive it and ended up selling it for what we bought it for after beating on it for a year. Also, using a shotgun as the shifter is such a killer move but probably would cause some issues being pulled over haha.

When my family watches any of the build shows on tv or whatnot. You always watch a vehicle build and think of how you would do it. This man flat-out has style!! His vehicles are amazing. Also the LS is extremely reliable which is another reason people including me love it but ai do agree with the small block statement. You could get a 434 small block for the price of an LS and make 700hp with no mods.

Oh 1320 I definitely have to say my favorite is his 1967 Chevy K10!!! I actually have a 1969 K30 SM465 203/205 doubler a built 421 sbc with just under 700Hp on the dyno!! 13” of lift and running 39” boggers a Dana60 up front and GM 14 bolt FF rear axel 4.56 gears with ARB air lockers in both front and rear axles!!! It’s an absolute blast!! Oh and yes I also run straight pipes also!! I definitely bet that he would love my 1969 Chevy!!!!

In my opinion the draw to the LS is the valve train and cam placement and cam bore size. You get more power out of the LS dollar for dollar, in my opinion and with all do respect to the older small block Chevy. Also the cylinder sleeves in the LS are made of much better material. Gen 4 rods and pistons hold alot of power for stock parts. With that said too each his own,awesome collection brother!!!!
