Okay can everyone stop acting like they have a masters in sports medicine. It's not like this was the NCAA championship tournament. They will 9 out of 10 wrestle again, so there is no point on complaing that this happened at a duel.

Desanto going to need win 2x Nat Championships.. this was a fold and every 133lb in the Country saw it and now salivating. He was working on legendary status without the championship already... craziest match ever..
@lawsonransom83184 жыл бұрын
Desanto at Penn State is a multi- Nat Champion. He is not firing on all 8 cylanders, and Brands will never get everything in alignment. Sanderson is what he needs.

People in the comments keeps saying he was trying not to get stuck... they still get the 6 team points and he takes a loss doesnt matter he was hurt knee injuries are no joke yes he limped here and there but when you tweak a injured knee that will truly make you reevaluate some things. Rby did his thing and was a dog out there and wrestled hard Austin desanto rest up and rebound from this

What’s sad is if things were reversed Iowa fans would have been howling & call RBY a wuss... Well guess what? You’re boy Desanto just got broken in front of you try hards lol. Never seen the refs save a wrestler from getting twice, unbelievable! Notice how Austin is fine until PSU locks that cradle up both times? Unreal!

@tonybonavito19784 жыл бұрын
I don’t know man. I’ll still say to this day that the first time when RBY grabbed his toe and then was going to transition into that cradle, that little jerk of Desantos knee inward is enough to tear a meniscus or something. I did that myself in practice 🤷♂️ but he could’ve faked it cause he didn’t wanna get cradled of course

Ok I understand that it might’ve been a fake injury but when you look at the whole scene he was limping and the first clip of RBY pulling his leg (at 1:44), it seemed like it could’ve popped. That’s just my opinion but I can see him faking it to get out of being pinned

I dunno if you've ever torn your MCL, but start watching at 0:42. He turns the toe out then lifts the ankle. Ouch!!! If he had continued to elevate the ankle, the match would have stopped for PD anyways. Big Ten wrestling is a dog eat dog world, but it's not fun to see the kids get hurt.
