Gram, in the last year's 174 Championships ZV took down hall once...Kemerer just took him down 3 times and had another reversal. ZV is obviously great but I don't recall him dominating Hall like Kemerer just did. Time will tell with the rematch but wow, he looking pretty dang good.

Good match. Hats off to Hall there around the 2:45 Mark. He knows its a potentially dangerous position they just sorta ended up in after a scramble so instead of trying to crank on the arm he just holds it till the ref stops. A lot of sportsmanship there protecting his opponent.

The scrambles were insane. Hall had the big throw at the beginning but kemerer amazingly worked through it and out. Incredible match.

Easily could have gone either way. Fun to watch and I like both programs, coaches etc. although I will say the Brands get on my nerves occasionally, but they are phenomenal coaches. Then there is Sanderson.

Up two weight classes and ....MAN! What an intelligent wrestler Kemerer is ...bracing that knee against better penetration, et. al. When he turned into the cross face I thought he'd get caked but a reversal came instead. Great take down near the end and the air twist and a frog out on that ankle pick...so smart. I thought he'd win but he outright dominated! I also thought Iowa would win by 7-11 points but what a squeaker it was. If you don't love this sport.....

Iowa wrestlers don't do roids jerk. Kem has discussed how hard the cut to 57 was. This is his natural weight. Freaking monster 74 pounder.

What an awesome match this was: exciting with a lot of action. Both wrestlers are so strong, flexible and fast. In the end, Emerer was clearly the winner, but Hall was also a great opponent. As a 'neutral' European viewer I love to watch American wrestling: you have so many good and sportive competitors. I hope to see many of them competing in the Olympics this year.

The benefit of superior conditioning and trained to wrestle hard every second of every single position. To wrestle somebody so well coached and so well trained is an absolute nightmare if you begin wilting as Hall did.

This was a great match! Kemerer was a little guy , sat out a year and came back a big guy who still moved like little guy. Motor ran on 6k rpm the whole time. shows his conditioning. Go Hawks!

Mark hall looks like a 141 or 149 wrestler, he needs to grow more for this weight class and for future olympics IMO

How can someone who's going to turn or already is 22 grow more??? He's been in the NCAA finals three times at 174, what's the difference now? Bo is another person who never even looked like his weight, especially 197 but made it happen so how he looks isn't the issue. Kremer showed him up hard plain and simple. Props to him for his big win, whether or not Hall comes back from this is up to him.

Why is everyone making excuses for Hall based on his weight. He's a d1 athlete from a well off family in a well off program. He could bulk up to 197 if he wanted too. He's not malnutritioned. If he's small, that's his choice
