Really good video Tyler. I've really wanted to dive into these types of glasses but have been really hesitant....this might get me over the hump? Did you try to use them with a PC (not laptop)? Curious how'd they do playing Star Citizen!

So I haven’t used them with my desktop yet but I can and let you know! Maybe i’ll try some Star Citizen with them! The thing is, using these on desktop is a bit strange because they’re not VR. And you likely already have multiple displays on your desktop. These are better suited for mobile setups giving you more displays with a laptop etc. For gaming on Desktop I would assume you likely have a better display on your desk than what these can offer for a desktop setup. How would you plan to use them?

In your full review can you also use them with a pc im pretty sure you can plug it in via hdmi into the Dock and maybe somehow stream the display via the neckband

I'm working on the review now! It should be out today. while I didn't specifically test HDMI on the dock, you can plug the glasses directly into your PC so long as it support display out via USB C aka Thunderbolt or USB 4/DP. I believe the dock uses HDMI out, not in so you can project what the glasses are seeing to a larger display like a TV not the other way around. In order to use them with a PC you'd have to connect the glasses directly.

How is heat development? Can I wear the glasses for extended periods of time without them feeling uncomfortable?

Yes! The right stem did get hot but it doesn’t touch your face so it never bothered me personally however I recommend only 3-5 hours at a time. Any more and you’ll likely start to feel a little uncomfortable but everyone is different.

Are there any options for smooth screen follow in the spacewalker app to counter for the motion sickness? Also, does the spacewalker app allows to dock the screen to be docked to the corners like the sideview on xreal beam. Personally, I will like to use it to view google maps at the corner while cycling if that's possible.

Yes! If you use the mobile dongle, the Spacewalker app will allow you to ping the display in place. You can also minimize the display to the corner with or without the dongle using the app. As far as using them while cycling, I wouldn't recommend it. The tracking likely won't work in motion and while these are pretty easy to wear outdoors, I don't think using them while riding a bike would be safe. I'm finishing up my review of them now and should have it live on the channel today!

Great video. But still a question: do you need all the accessories to use the glasses? Can I use them with my phone only (the last Samsung Note)? Or do I need the docking station as well? Can I use my Xbox controller instead of the one delivered? Most likely I won't be playing games with it, but want to use it for watching movies...

Yes! You can use the glasses all by themselves with no accessories. As a matter of fact that’s how I used them for most of the time. I just plugged them into my phone or my steamdeck. And yes you can use any controller as long as it’s bluetooth. The neckband runs Android 11 so you can pair any bluetooth accessories you want. However, in order to stream from your xbox will need the neckband as the glasses don’t have a power source on their own. The neckband sorta serves as the brain to the glasses. otherwise think of the glasses as just an external screen.

Yes! However, your android device needs to support display out via USB C. From what I've been told, some Android devices won't work natively. Additionally, to pin the display, you need to have the mobile dongle or the neckband.

Didn’t say much, I thought it was some anti glare shit… and then I found your video and …what? This is like Apple vr with the pass through? You project a 135 inch display just where ever? Are you serious? And it looks good? I’m seriously amazed. I just bought the steam deck so I could game on my couch with the steam library but I guess I could have just gotten these instead…

"135in" is kinda false advertisement. It all depend on the viewing distance and how much fov it takes up. If you dim the glasses it will just feel like a simple 24" display sitting at 0.5m in front of you. Still kinda impressive, but it's not the holy grail. And a 24" at 1080p at this distance will not feel blurry.

@Bidule200 I cover this more in my full review. Of course it’s not 135”. It’s a perceived size given how the displays work. But when the shades are clear and you look at a wall or surface 10-12ft away, you absolutely feel like you’re looking at a 100+” screen.
