Pro chef Saúl Montiel from Cantina Rooftop and home cook Lorenzo are swapping recipes and hitting the kitchen to whip up a plate of nachos. We provided Lorenzo with all the ingredients necessary to make chef Saúl’s over-the-top $135 nacho recipe, sending only $13 worth of materials back the other direction. In here Indonesia, specially in my hometown. We have some kind of Tamales like dish we called Lepet, instead using meat in this dish, we used sweet corn and shredded coconut. Its sweet and delicious.

Hey bro, I have been in the food service industry for about 20 years with experience ranging from prep/line cook to kitchen manager for boh. I have never seen nachos made like you did in that skillet. My recipes for all Mexican dishes came directly from the 'horses mouth' so to speak learning from my fellow cooking homies from Mexico. That Maza Harina brand was always in the kitchen growing up. My grandma & my mom would always make tortillas from scratch and then cut them into tortilla chips for chilaquiles. Also chiles guajillo, chiles anchos, chiles de arbol and chiles serranos were always in the pantry. Watching this is so nostalgic. They both did an amazing job! Both nachos look scrumptious👅🥙💖
