Thanks, Bankless; I learned very much from this episode. Keep up the excellent work.

Perhaps this is just confirmation bias, but for me, this is the greatest, most insightful interview Bankless has done. Housel is a down-to-earth cat who has a fine sense of humility.

This is another masterpiece. I confess that a lot of videos about devs and applications on blockchains it’s not my favorite content. But psychological analysis it’s fkin amazing. Congrats again. The timing of this subject was precise.

WIth all due respect, but Crypto is not what his book is about, it's actually antithetical to the premise of his book. Sadly you state that most of crypto is a scam, but still contend it's a market like equities, which it's not. Crypto is an alternative asset similar to gold and silver. It doesn't provide a dividend because it's not tied to a tangible asset like a business. If you truly read and want to apply what Morgan wrote then what is your plan, when your plan does not go according to plan. Please, everyone, do yourself a favor, actually read Morgan's book.

Another point that is messing with my head is: how much and what quality of day-to-day information we are seeing and how it affect our judgment about portfolio. That’s a dangerous game.

A question about compounding... How exactly do you mean that it is exponentially growing? I get that it's likely to increase in value over time, but unless you are reinvesting dividends or yield, you will always have the same amount of said asset?
@Kornheiser10 Жыл бұрын
Yes, depending on the asset, but if an asset grows in value at 7% /year, it doubles every 10 years. $2 turns to $4 to $8 to $16 to $32 in 40 years. It's exponential

Great interview. I think that researching crypto can be extremely helpful especially if the intention is to write a book about it, even if centered around the psychology of investing/money, etc. In the end, the surest way to learn about cryptocurrencies is to get involved by buying and selling it, or owing and using it over time.

This interview is actual trash. A lot of copes. How can you say that you should be fine with being cash poor and time rich. Being on welfare is no fun.
