If the led flickers its typically the switch the copper bar needs slightly bent towards the battery

depends on your taste. I prefer the look of the Ex-S but that kit is a little dated. I think you'll probably have more fun with this kit.

you put a lot of work to the blues but the video did not do it justice. the blue look dull. I saw the guy's twitter you mention that you want to mimic. He uses a lighter backround. Also the shadow is bit dark. maybe a white card on the other side of your main source of light behind camera would help.

When you paint the inner frame or primer it do you cover any exposed poly caps?

i normally don't do anything special for the polycaps if they're set into the frame. Sometimes I'll take them out while painting and put them back in if they are easily accessible. But if it's a hassle I just leave them in. paint chips off them straight away but usually they are hidden and not unsightly.

Phuc Mai wash dirt off them! lol I hope you mean dust! Best to get a nice cabinet for them. You can also get UV Cut topcoat from Mr.Color

you can get a good airbrush for under $150, but then you also need a compressor and probably a spray booth as well. You can probably find a full set up for less than 150 but I wouldn't recommend it. If your serious about, plan to invest 200-300 for a good set up that will last and give consistent results.

kenneth acuna well the average Commission price for a standard HG is $75 [b4 shipping]. So for the normal PG Exia is around $150, you would be looking at maybe $300+ plus shipping.

It's got too many complicated gimmicks and details. It would either look like garbage, be a brick, be a mountain of plastic for an hg, be an add and a half to put together or have horrible weight issues more likely all of the above.

It does. But the XN conversion parts are included with Hobby Japan magazine released way back then. It's just one runner and molded in white. And, you need a HG 00 Raiser of course.
