I mean we kind of did with the cherub episode of Helluva Boss, But I definitely agree with you. It definitely seems to me like heaven is kind of corrupt or that it's full of snobs but we might actually get a chance to see other angels not just in Helluva Boss, but also in Hazbin Hotel, because even though in both of these shows the angels are painted as the bad guys and we're supposed to be rooting for the demons I feel like along the line it's going to be revealed that it's not quite so black and white. Because honestly if this show can make us sympathize for demons I have a feeling that the angels are going to have things about them that aren't so cut and dry either.

Normally I root for the imp demons in Helluva Boss, because usually they're facing against assholes who are worse than they are so in that scenario I have to choose which assholes I want to root for, lol But when they are facing against people who are not assholes and are actually trying to do something that's legitimately good I find it really hard to root for the assholes that I usually root for.

To not be disappointed, I like to believe that cherubs are like imps in this universe. Like, they are naturally born in heaven and can die or reproduce. Plus were seen other angels, who look much different from cherubs. Just so you know, Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel take place in the same universe, so Heaven we have seen in HB is the same as the one we will most likely eventually see in HH. A Christian friend judged me harshly for watching Hazbin Hotel because "making light of Hell is a sin" and "if people are in Hell, they deserve it, end of story." There was a massive fanon that was essencialy this, it was called 'Into the Light' I believe, it has a wiki page. I must say, I like the concept it had, which was mirrored in this comic; Heaven, the angels, and god had a big part in the story, and Heaven was shown to have good and bad, and even flawed angels who tried to better themselves. They were intelligent, and usually thoughtful in their actions. It was a big story, and had a lot of moving parts to its plot, it was an epic that would have done well on a stage. Alas, Vivi's vision for heaven is much more... generic... and sad. Like after seeing vivi's heaven, I wonder why souls would want to be redeemed into that life.

Even though the actual series has already aired. I still wish the show's story had partially went in this direction. Like they included that heaven also has problems just like hell, that Lucifer's rebellion changed a lot of things for the worse and Charlie's overall goal would wind up helping all of them. I knew the show would be far from biblically accurate, but I would've loved to see Charlie interacting with her extended family like in this comic and helping them sort out their issues with each other.

There were plenty of times in the bible where people were told that a child was not responsible for the sins of a parent, including in the law of moses. Please note that this doesn't mean I want to fight about who is right. I just believe that is character is just reading different verses. I have read the bible a few times, and it is possible I missed something, but I can't find anything in the book that actually referes to original sin.

Also dont forget original sin that all man is guilty of because adam and eve ate the fruit. I was supposedly born guilty and deserving of damnation because adam and eve ate the fruit.

With Adam and Eve, I never quit understand how that could be right. I always saw it as your own transgressions (disobedience that you don't know was wrong) and sins (the ones were you knew and did it anyway) that got you in trouble. They made their decision, but it isn't your fault, therefore you aren't going to be in trouble for it. I believe that people are born innocent. If you had died as a kid you would have been saved, because you hadn't chosen to sin. 'As a child' was used as an ideal the Christ asked people to strive for, and he won't want them to try to be more like something inherently bad.

@@bethanybelyeu6012 that was in the Past. The Sacrifice of Jesus absolved humanity of the Sins of Adam and Eve. Whats going on now is that we have to accept Jesus as our Savior or else we don't go to heaven. Kind of messed up but that was the sales pitch. Every Heaven in Every Religion ☯️ is just this Glorified Exclusive Club for the "GOOD" aka Faithful People. Its not the Good place if everyone is allowed in.

I really hope they do this as their representation of heaven instead of: "Ohhh, heaven is an strict place" like a few other shows have done. It's easy to make heaven look like a terrible strict school because of what the idea of a good christian is in most religions, but making a heaven look like a good place that tolerates sins basing it on how good the person was not as a believer but as a person in general is something every adaptation of heaven and hell forgets.
