Question: Is there a reason you drilled the hole for the wiring to the back of the unit? It seems like it would have made more sense to drill another hole in the flat area what would normally be under the rubber mat. If it ever needs to be reversed, that hole won't be covered. I'm just curious of there was a reason, since I'm about to tackle this myself.

They all come with about 3 inches of wire stick out. You have to extend the wiring. Gonna do the same on mine and install it next weekend.

You should've used the ICS Fab under plate for added support. Also use 67 Deign mounts since they carbon fiber for less vibration.
