Thanks for you video of installing the Auxito H7 LED headlights. I bought the same pair in your video and installed them in my 2021 Ram Promaster chassis. I do like the increase brightness. I will say the it took me a longer time than you in getting the LED bulb into the socket even when I Ioosended the screw holding the metal tab. I am hoping the LED bulbs will last at least three years or longer before replacing them.

Thank you. After dealing with the factory lights for 3 years I came across your video. Ordered the lights off amazon and wow what a difference. Then ordered another pair for the high beams.

Thank you! I was considering this change and your instructions let me know what's involved - I can handle this!! My current headlights are a hazard under anything other than ideal conditions, so I felt it important to change for brighter bulbs.

Did you have any flickering issues? As an FYI, it is not necessary to loosen the tab. You just place the bulb in the reflector housing first and then push the connector/retainer into place.

This one did not work light that. It was made slightly larger than a regular H7 bulb and would not clear without loosening the retainer.

i just got these installed and idk why but cant see a thing. i go under a bridge on the highway and the underside of the bridge i can see as well as high way signs very light up, but can hardly see the lights even shine on the back of the vehicle i pull behind. ive tried adjusting the lenses with zero improvement at it getting to look anything like what yours does in your video. ill try one more time at adjusting and if it doesnt get aimed down like it needs to be, ill have to put back the silverstars i had. dont know why my van would be the odd man out, but it is aggravating

That's weird. Sound like an aim issue or maybe even a focus issue. Are you sure you got them seated completely and oriented correctly in the housings? They were a big improvement in our van. You should be able to bend down to about the level of just below a cars mirrors at about 20 feet away and it should about blind you just below that line. Watch some headlight aiming videos. If they were aimed too low it could cause what you are describing because you're just getting glare reflection off the signs so that's not really a good indicator.

@@JackofAllMasterofNone i tried aiming them again. i had to turn left a TON to get them to go down but they did. initialy i was turning and it wasnt doing anything but i just stayed there turing like mad for a while and they finally went down. it is an improvement for sure. thank you for the video. definitely makes night driving much easier on the eyes being able to see much better

@@showcivicred It is because your bulbs are not fully seated against the back of the housing reflector. I had the same thing happen with the halogens. When we purchased the van, one of the headlights seemed like it was aimed at the sky, but the bulb just wasn't fully seated. It isn't actually necessary to loosen that little tab as in this video, but you do need to set the bulb in place and then push the connector/retainer into place.

The headlights on the Promaster, believe it or not, aren't monitored by the BCM like everything else is. The darn thing will tell you a license plate light is out, but doesn't monitor the headlights. I assume that is on purpose and is because Amazon and other major Promaster users install LED bulb conversions as a standard upfitting procedure.

Nope - absolutely NOT. No way in HELL will that go back 2gthr. Worst design of a lamp unit I have ever had to deal with . 100% total garbage design. Who comes up with this crap?? Engineers that DON’t work on cars, that’s who.
