At a certain age, with a certain amount of freedom, and a certain amount of adventurous spirit--all of which you possess--such an experience opens one's eyes to the unimagined wonders of the world beyond one's realm of experience. It is intoxicating, transformational, addicting, overwhelming, inexpressible. Thank you for bringing us along on your journey of wonder.

Fellow Canadian (Ont.) here. Just came across your channel. I’m retired so I can go backcountry canoeing when I want but you and my daughter are kindred spirits. She keeps her camping gear in her vehicle so she can go camping at will with her dog. She also joins me on my canoe trips when her work allows. So great to see an articulate young lady producing these videos, living the dream and being a role model for others. Keep it up. 👍

I love the west. Being from the east side of the states I don't get to see it that much, but really want to get back out there. For camping I've started sleeping in the bed of my Tacoma. I bought a cap and use a light weight tarp to keep rain water out, and use a mosquito net to keep the bugs out. I love your sense of adventure, and your confidence to go out and do these things on your own. Good for you!!

Awesome adventure and great scenery! Glad that Kiro and you got down that ladder safely. If you don't already have one, I would strongly recommend getting a high quality harness (with a handle) for Kiro. It makes all the difference for hikes with technical stuff. On a pick up such as yours, rear leaf springs are more comfortable with a heavy load. Without it, on bumpy track roads, you could deflate a little bit your tires to avoid being so much shaken (and breaking the tonneau cover). Traction would be improved too. Having a car portable compressor pump with you would be handy in this situation.
@chillislives11 ай бұрын
The Dodge has coil springs. Airing down is off-road 101. Having a compressor and tire plugs is also in the 101 course.
