You take a good look at this folks. She pays over 15 grand and is staying in squaller and eating like my drunk uncle Ralph who lives in a shack. Ask yourself this, who's really getting that money 🤔

You should get a girlfriend to go with you seems more fun to set up stuff with a friend

Just to carry everything in and set up would be a pain, but you have to have those boots with internal crampons and snow shoes with pack and a sled; and a tent with a window! Imagine cooking a ton of food and a fkn cougar starts wailing outside! pretty cool video its a lot to manage cameras, and do all this yourself! way to go!

Just stumbled upon your channel and love it. I do ask that the audio was more consistent. Some parts are very low and other parts are loud.

i would be careful with all that sawdust and woodchips from the compressed fire brick. a small piece of ember on that will create a large fire in that pile really quickly.

I live too far south to get much snow (Virginia, US) so I love to find channels like yours and live vicariously through lovely people like you. I absolutely love ice and snow, and have somehow convinced my husband to move to Maine next year :) :) :) I can't wait to get some proper gear and go hiking in the dead of winter!

Madison, what is the benefit from doing something like this if you don't have to? I'm half an old man but unless there was a goal or a benefit I'd sure as stuff NOT do this.
@thomascook53686 сағат бұрын
That's really bad. You don't want to ever sweat in below freezing temps. Canada has to be flipping brutal. I'm from Iowa and that was bad enough. Ok I'm a minute fifteen in lets watch the rest.

For future reference, do not use the plastic or rubber lid you were using to keep your wood on while trying to split it. That lid was part of holding you back by adding cushion to your blows and sending force back to you. One always wants the wood on a solid, stable ground/stump, etc., so that it splits easily.

Also, wear a beanie or something on your head and gloves on your hands. You are burning energy, keeping yourself warm while you could just use the appropriate PPE.

I just discovered your channel right now. I have a couple questions. Where are you located? I'm assuming Alberta or B.C. because you mentioned cougars. I'm in Ontario. We've had reports of cougars here in Ontario, but I haven't seen any signs of them. Next question. What watch is that!?

Hike into deep snow to spend the night in the woods. Good food and survive the winter in a hot tent.
