@@Asianboy1not because of that. But because some armoured unit are more than 200 years old and were raised by rich kings and princely states. After independence, they swore loyalty to India. So that’s why they have legacy of royalty. Also, historically rich zamindars joined cavalry whereas infantry was mostly for common peasants.

There is nothing called ' General Duty ' uniform. There is a Dress Regulation which describes the dresses laid down for different occasions. All dresses are accordingly known by a particular No like 6A , 6B , No2 , No 1 , No 8 etc

Ceremonial uniforms also are different. The one where you said only armoured corps officers wear is wrong. Its called blue patrol and all officers wear when required and there is also a white patrol again all officers wear when required. The other uniform which vicky kaushal is wearing is 6B which is a ceremonial summer uniform

Buddy wrong information. The second uniform that you described is SD which is ceremonial uniform for all officers and not only for general officers that you mentioned later in the reel. Also GD uniform for winter is a green jersey on top of angola shirt. Also black combats for armoured corps is called combat uniform for them. Cheers mate
