From the past few years Indian military is focusing too much on women empowerment that it has become more of a women dominance. Even in republic day parade most contingents are lead by women even though women are only 2% of all personnels in the Indian military. Yes, women empowerment should be done but not to the level that it becomes dominances and demographically unbalanced.

One thing SM (subedar major) is promoted from rank sepoy At around 25-30 years of service of service and good conduct of his service and he is just kept for open the gate of officers . Its not only for females officers its also for male officers There is not value for SUBEDAR MAJOR AND below rank in army .
