It might be a little more pricy, but if you’re going to do the poached egg hack, please tie off zip lock bags, or use plastic bags or wraps with a similar plastic component. Ziplocks are heat safe to a certain temperature, whereas other plastics are not (hence why you can use ziplocks for cooking methods like sous vide)

This is the best egg trick. 1. Buy as many eggs you can (free range chicken eggs) 2. Put them under a duvet, couple of sheets, blanket or some other way of holding them warm 3. Flip them some times a day 4. Get baby chicks! Reason being that on farms were they produce free range chicken eggs, they usually have a rooster there to keep control over the chickens. So the eggs might be fertilized. (This have been tested and people have been able to get chicks)

I have discovered by tempering an egg, you boil the water first, then drop in the egg to desired time. This helps the egg peel easier because it rushes the cooking time of the egg and it pulls away from the shell. If you boil the egg WITH the water, the temperature of both water AND egg will be equal, which DOESN'T allow the egg to pull away from the shell.
