I think the phoenix flames along the battlefield was in the regular cinematic version - but the harpy chasing it and Peter killing the harpy seemed like the extended part.

Was that a harpy or a gargoyle?

@ Harpy was just the first thing I thought of- maybe it was a gargoyle or another creature. I never read these books so I’m not sure.

Yes, I can understand why they remove these scenes, it was a bit more unrealistic and a bit gruesome scene creatures burn to death, even evil ones.

I completely agree with you! It's always disappointing when a scene like this gets cut from the final version of a movie, especially when it adds so much to the story and the action. I'm glad you enjoyed this extended battle scene - it really does add a lot to the overall experience of the movie.

​@@EnchantedTooWell The phoenix with the wall of flame was. However, the dwarves shooting at it as well as the [harpy?] going for it (with Peter shooting it down) were not. Also, this scene showed that some of Jadis's army getting caught within the flame wall, while in the theatrical version, that part was also absent.

Aslan, Aslan Has the Best Creatures Cheetah's, Dog's, Horses(Unicorn), Centaur's, Faun's, Satyr Phoinex(🔥), Aslan Army might not be as Intimdating as Jadis,(5000 Narnian Troops Vs 15,000 Jadis Troops), Which is 3x the Troop Factor hence the line "Numbers do not win a Battle no? But I Bet they Help", But he has Quality Aslan Troops were able to Hold out Defend & Evade & Play the Long game like they were on a Chess Board, Jadis Forces had no Stragety just rush in & overwhelm them via Numerical.
