I have a table mold kit but haven’t been inspired enough by other examples to try anything yet. This looks promising. Thank you for sharing your expertise. Beautiful table. 😊

❤beautiful. I like to do similar, large coasters, but thus is a new kind of layout ith the rocks I can consider. I recently took pictures of a mountainside next to the ocean in turkey 🇹🇷 and pictures of the rock formations to see if I can replicate it sone into my redin pieces as I liked the look of the rock layers and the natural line formations I could see in the mountainside x

Hey, it really awesome Koi Fish table. Question what kind of figure that you use for Koi inside the table. Also, if you use Molds for koi Fish how do you detail in small molds. Thank you!
@Redlotusresin11 ай бұрын
There were molds for the koi fish. I used mica powder and paint pens to detail them. I first used the paint pen to do fine detail. Then I brushed on mica powder to give it more color. Last, I poured resin colored white into the mold. Hope that helps 🙂

May I ask how you attached the legs? I made a succulent table and have the same legs as you in the video but not sure how to attach them! Scared to put screws in it!

I drill then straight into the resin. I've never had an issue with them not being sturdy

Have question, when you doing layers of resin. How long have wait till add another layers?
@Redlotusresin11 ай бұрын
On a larger piece like this I usually wait at least eight hours. If you try to pour another layer too quickly then you risk a “flash” cure occurring. Most of the time I wait to pour anymore until the next day. Don’t rush, patience is key with resin!

Want double check. When you pour 20 ounces of resins. Do you use resin and harder in same time during 20 ounces?
@Redlotusresin10 ай бұрын
Yes, you would use both resin and hardener mixed as directed by the instructions on your resin bottles. Otherwise it won’t harden.

Hi I live in the UK and I am trying to build up a small business and I want to focus on unique pieces such as small themed tables and lamps, I am working on a similar piece to the kol carp piece you are doing. Can I ask do you also sell your work? If you do how much would you charge for this table? Where do you start getting your work noticed please?
@Redlotusresin2 ай бұрын
@@paulabolger7741 I do sell my work. It’s taken time to get my name out there. I have done vendor shows, farmers markets, and I sell on line. It does take time to build up a reputation for your business so you have to be patient. The way I price my items is I figure out the total cost including resin, items used in the resin and hardware (in this case the table legs), and add a cost for my time to make it. Then I usually double that and that’s what I charge. You can look at other sellers in your area to see what they charge also because every area has different price ranges. Hope that helps!

About filming, start by shooting landscape and not portrait (essentially hold your phone on the side) The table looks very nice 🎉
