14. Rugby To The Coventry Canal.

I've really enjoyed my time on the Grand Union and North Oxford canals but now I've made a loose plan to cruise up to Hawkesbury Junction then turn onto the Coventry Canal and head up to the Trent and Mersey Canal. I have no definite plans but it will be a new cruising area for me before making a decision on what to do or where to cruise for the winter. I'm looking forward to it and I hope you enjoy following along.

Hey there, I hope you’re happy and well. Thanks once again for sharing your ongoing adventure. I really appreciate it. Such a beautiful location, and you had some gorgeous days for filming . The old bridges are incredible. I also like all of the various fonts used for the bridge numbers. If I was there on the canals, I’d be photographing all of the numbers to make a collage with them all. I heard about one of the very old stone bridges. It was listed (I think) and in a bad way. They carefully dismantled the entire thing, built a new modern structure, and then replaced the original facing stones, getting it back to its original appearance - what an amazing thing to do 🙂 Anyway, thanks again, take care and I’m looking forward to seeing whatever happens next.
